This is
your first step to gaining employment in the security
industry.
Certificate II & III in Security
Operations
Successful completion of this course will satisfy licensing
training requirements for a combined security guard/crowd
control license.
The aim of the Certificate II & III courses is to develop a
student’s proficiency in providing operational security
services including crowd control and security guarding
duties.
Key content of the program includes law relevant to the
security industry, customer service, team work,
communication skills and managing intoxicated persons,
reporting security incidents, occupational health and safety
and emergency procedures.
After successful completion of this course you will have the
knowledge and skills to effectively watch, guard and protect
the community and their assets with the highest level of
professionalism and integrity.

Courses are provided part-time and full-time during weekdays
and weekends. All students must have a sound knowledge of
the English language (read and write) and be at least 18
